“Speak now or forever hold your peace” at the informal stakeholders meeting November 6, 2017 regarding the new Draft regulations for the California Office of Tax Appeals (OTA).
At this informal stakeholder meeting, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end no later than 1:00 p.m., OTA staff will solicit input regarding the draft emergency regulations. This meeting is not part of the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) formal rulemaking process. Decisions will not be made at this meeting regarding changes to the emergency regulations, and any comments and input provided, written and/or oral, will not be responded to in writing. However, OTA staff will take under consideration any comments submitted regarding the draft emergency regulations, and will thereafter finalize and formally commence the APA emergency regulations rulemaking process.
